A complete Landrush collection contains 1 copy of each unique variant of a given basic land type. In Landrush, a “unique variant” is identified by:
The set the card appears in.
The language of the card.
The unique print, identified by its collector number and illustration variant (if multiple exist). Foiled cards always count as a distinct variant.
The grade of a card does not matter, but played or poor cards are displayed here as being damaged.
Different print runs of the same print may also be collected, but are not recognized by the collection. The same goes for signed, altered, or misprinted cards.
Pure color variations between print runs (like in Revised Edition), are not identified as unique variants.
Some print runs of the same print will have minor content variations, like an updated tap symbol. We do not identify those as distinct variants.
Foreign White-Bordered/Foreign Revised is a set distinct from 4th Edition. These are required, distinct variants in Landrush. However, identifying these cards is incredibly challenging. Due to their low value, a Landrush collection is still considered complete if these cards were “accidentally” collected from 4th Edition.
Summer Magic/Edgar is a set distinct from Revised Edition. These are required, distinct variants in Landrush.
Alternate 4th Edition is a set distinct from 4th Edition.
Landrush defines the following price classes for cards:
Regular
The value of a basic land is 0.025 €. You should always be able to buy a basic land for just a few cents. A more expensive version of the same land makes no difference in game play.
Pricey
A basic land that costs 1.00 € is worth as much as 40 lands of the same type, without providing any advantage in game play. More than 1,000 cards are in this class.
Expensive
Basic lands that cost 10.00 € are the equivalent of 400 lands with the identical game play value. This class has almost 200 cards in it.
Premium
Spending 50.00 € on a single basic land would get you 2,000 lands at regular market price. Secret Lair Promos and Limited Edition Alpha cards can be found in this class.
Prestige
Cards at the prestige level start at 500.00 €, the equivalent of 20,000 lands. The lands from Summer Magic are commonly in this class.
Prestige+
This level signifies a value of at least 1,000.00 €. That is the equivalent of 40,000 regular basic land cards. Some Guru Lands can appear in this class.
The ambassador tries to bridge cultural gaps, and always tries to expand their knowledge about foreign language. The ambassador owns every variant in a chosen language.
The landowner is modest, and wants to achieve reasonable land ownership with traditional means, like trading, or buying when something is offered at a very good price. The landowner does not intentionally buy a 1 € card to complete their collection. The landowner owns every card in the Regular price class.
The landlord considers land to be an investment, and wants to own as much of it as possible, with the hopes that the value will increase over time. The landlord happily buys a 10 € card to complete their collection. The landlord owns all cards up to (and including) the Premium price class.
The royal is not concerned with money. Land ownership is a hobby to the royal. Whatever price tag you put on your land, the royal laughs at it. The royal was born already owning an almost complete collection. The royal buys every available card at any price, just so that nobody else can have that card. The royal owns every single card variant.
